The Spanish Inquisition

This painting is a historical rendition of the King John in the 1600s. This cryptic view of King John is not to depict how he looked exactly, but to express his intent more, which is what the expressionist view shows, along with the dripping blood opposite to him. The painting shows what the Spanish Inquisition was really about. He speaks of him about to ship the Israelites out on the Atlantic Slave Trade in 1619. This painting is a part of the History 101 series which is a narrative. This is the third painting in the narrative.
