This is a portrait of the full strength and ethnicity of the first woman on earth, Eve. Genesis 2:7 says that the Most High formed man of the dust of the ground…”. The dust / dirt / earth / mud is brown. Eve is a part of Adam and so the reason for the colour of her body is to show that red colour which is in bauxite, the dust, the dirt that King David resembles the most as ruddy in 1 Samuel 16:12.
Eve is David’s descendant and he too looks like that colour of the dust. The root word for ruddy is related to the word Adam which means of a rosy or reddened complexion. Her hair is thick and long, which is the natural state of a ‘black’ woman’s hair. her body is quitre stylized and exudes expression so as to get the point across of her excellent form shown from a different point of view, one of the first points of view, when King James wrote the bible.
Eve is in the garden of Eden. It is a duo and is with the Adam painting.
