Curvy Lady

This is the first oil painting I did in 2000. This painting is filled with seduction, shyness, un-sureness, attention-seeking and timidity. I express my desires and thoughts through paintings, and I completed this painting while getting over a brain injury. The world was upside down and I felt as if nobody saw me on campus, which is where I painted it. Venus is the mythological goddess in Rome, Italy, and I painted her because at this stage we were focusing on master painters and a lot of that was centered around European painters.
