Concussion or Man disturbed

This painting was commissioned by the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute for the purposes of displaying it in their December 2020 magazine issue called Rehab Inc. It is a comment on brain injured individuals and the many issues that come with it many years later. Because of the black men that were being killed at that time, I gave the caricatured image a look of a black man to further bring home the fact that they are disproportionately affected by injuries.
